1. Who operates this site

This website is published by the independent licensed life insurance agent whose name, photograph, and license information appear on this site ("I," "me," "my"). By using this site you agree to these Terms and to my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What this site is for

This site lets you confirm who I am, verify my insurance license with the states where I hold one, read about the kinds of coverage I work with, and schedule a conversation with me. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer of insurance, a quote, a policy illustration, or a guarantee that you can obtain coverage or any particular rate.

3. Insurance products and coverage

The products described on this site are general descriptions, not policy terms. Whether coverage is available to you, and on what terms, depends on an application, the issuing carrier's underwriting, and the laws of your state. Products, riders, and features vary by carrier and by state and are not available in all states. Any guarantee in a life insurance or annuity product is backed solely by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company, not by me. Indexed products are not investments in the stock market; policy loans and withdrawals reduce cash value and the death benefit; annuities may carry surrender charges and age limits; and optional riders may cost extra. Insurance and annuity products are not bank deposits and are not insured by the FDIC or any government agency.

4. License verification

The "Verify my license" section links to state Department of Insurance websites, which are operated by those states, not by me. I do not control their content or availability. Holding a state license means I am authorized to transact insurance in that state; it is not an endorsement or recommendation by any state or government agency, and I am not affiliated with any government agency or program. I update my license information when it changes, but the state's record is the official record; if the two ever differ, the state's record controls.

5. Carrier names and logos

Insurance company names and logos on this site are trademarks of their owners. They are shown to indicate that I hold an appointment to sell that company's products. No carrier has endorsed this site or reviewed its content, and the display of a logo is not a statement that any carrier will issue coverage to you.

6. Scheduling a consultation

Booking a time through this site reserves a conversation; it does not create a client relationship, bind coverage, or submit an application. The consent you give when you book is described in my Privacy Policy and governs how I may contact you.

7. Ownership of the site

My name, photograph, biography, and professional information are mine. The design, layout, software, and other technology that make up this site belong to their respective owners. No person or company that provides design, software, hosting, or other services for this site is a party to these Terms, and none of them has any responsibility or liability to you for this site, its content, or my services. You may view the site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or republish any part of it, or use my name, likeness, or license information to impersonate me or for any other purpose, without written permission.

8. Links to other sites

This site links to state insurance department websites and may link to carriers or other third parties. I am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which I hold my resident insurance license, as shown in the license information on this site, without regard to that state's conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the laws of the state where you live.

12. Changes to these Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its effective date, and your use of the site after a change is acceptance of that change for your use going forward.
